Apace

APACE aims to address rising energy demands in space and on Earth by demonstrating a novel bio-inspired sunlight-pumped laser based on photosynthetic complexes. This laser operates under unconcentrated sunlight with efficiency at least 100 times greater than current designs. Read the full article at: Meet Apace

ZEUS

ZEUS is developing efficient, radiation-resistant nanowire solar cells for sustainable in-orbit power generation. The project aims to scale up to 1x1 cm² modules, boost power conversion with III-V nanowire MOSFETs, reduce material use via peeling and wafer re-use, and support decarbonization through life-cycle assessments.
