sensiBel – MEMS World Summit's Startup of the Year
sensiBel – EIC Scaling Club member in the 'Next-Gen Computing' market group – has been awarded startup of the year at the MEMS World Summit!
The event's advisory committee nominated sensiBel for the Startup of the Year award, praising the company's breakthrough innovation, which enables studio-quality microphone performance in a small MEMS package using optical technology.
.lumen raises €5 million for its glasses for the blind
EIC Scaling Club's member in the 'Next-Gen Computing' market group, .lumen, has announced a €5,000,000 funding round, with €1,000,000 million available on SeedBlink.
"We're opening this [funding] round to everyone, not just institutional investors because we want more people to be part of our story. Join us in this mission to make impact, not just money," invites .lumen's CEO and founder Cornel Amariei.
Manna is a drone delivery service company that helps businesses make faster, safer, and more sustainable deliveries using drone technology. The company that's part of the EIC Scaling Club's 'Smart Mobility' market group has been featured in TechRound.uk.
We can build many more unicorns together – Interview with Mikko Suonenlahti
We spoke to Mikko Suonenlahti – a business builder in his 5th decade of supporting early-stage tech founders. He's the chairperson at various companies, having served on 100 boards in 10 countries and helped nurture two unicorns. He is also the Digital Security & Trust Group President and Mentor at the EIC Scaling Club.

EIC BAS Innovation Procurement Academy
Over 250,000 EU public authorities spend about 14% of GDP (€2 trillion annually) on procuring services, works, and supplies, with a growing focus on innovation. Innovation procurement enables suppliers to discuss new and disruptive solutions with potential buyers early, facilitating their inclusion in tenders.

A delegation of 15 EIC companies will exhibit their innovations under the European Pavilion at GITEX GLOBAL 2024 from 13 to 18 October in Dubai.
